Just weeks ahead of Toy Fair 2018 in New York City, DC Collectibles revealed a brand new line of PVC statues.

The new line, centering on the core characters of the DCU, will measure 9 inches in height and be made of PVC.  Jim Fletcher, executive creative director for DC Collectibles, explained the move to PVCt.   “With PVC, we don’t have to worry as much about breakage since the material is more durable than resin, and we can offer these statues at a lower price point without sacrificing quality.”

On a figure specific theme base, and sculpted by David Pereira, the line kicks off with Joker debuting in August 2018, followed up with Batman in September, and both Batgirl and Wonder Woman hitting your LCS by November.  The statues are set to retail for $50.

But wait!  There is more.  And that more comes in the form of a 6 inch scale multi-part statue based on George Pérez’s classic New Teen Titans #1 cover.  Sold separately, but able to be assembled to recreate the famous cover will be Starfire, Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl and Raven.  The first figures of the lot to debut in August of 2018 will be Starfire and Robin, with the rest of the Titans being released throughout the rest of the year.

There’s also a new designer series statue from Brian Bolland, a DC Cover Girl: Batgirl statue by Joëlle Jones and a Harley Quinn Expressions Pack right out of Batman: The Animated Series.  All set to hit stores starting in August 2018 and beyond.
