The big day is finally upon us and what better way to kick off the Newsbox’s Force Friday coverage then with perhaps the biggest reveal of them all.  LEGO’s Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon (75192).  After weeks and weeks of teases, the largest LEGO set to date has officially been unveiled.

Clocking in at over 7500 pieces, this updated version of Han Solo’s ride measures over 8 inches in height, 33 inches in length and 22 inches wide.  But, it’s not just the size that’s impressive, it’s the detailing both inside and out, as well.  The exterior of the famous Corellian freighter has removable hull panels, a lowering boarding ramp, a 4-minifigure cockpit, 7 landing legs, lower quad laser and both round and rectangular sensor dishes so you can represent the OT or the new movies.

Inside there’s the main hold that has a seating area, Dejarik holographic game, combat remote training helmet (with the blast shield down, I can’t even see!  How am I supposed to fight?) and engineering station.  There’s also a rear compartment with engine room and hyperdrive and a gunnery station.

The set comes with 7 total minifigures:  4 figures from the OT (Han, Chewie, Leia and Threepio) and 3 from Episodes VII/VIII (old Han, Rey and Finn).  There’s also buildable figures like BB-8, 2 Porgs and a Mynock.

Just like everything else in life, though, all that fun is gonna cost ya.  The LEGO Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon retails for $799 and will be available for purchase on October 1st, 2017 at and at LEGO stores.
