Spin Master is taking all those tiny, little remote controlled BB-8 toys and making them look, well…small.  Check out this life-size, interactive Hero Droid BB-8:

Standing at just over 16 inches in height, this new BB-8 rolls and interacts just like in the movies.  With the special voice recognition software, program BB-8 to follow voice commands.  Or, do more with the little astromech droid by controlling him with the included 360-degree remote.  There’s even a “Follow Me” mode that allows BB to roll along side of you, just like he does with Rey and Poe.

The Hero BB-8 features film accurate design and detailing with light and sound effects straight from the upcoming release, Star Wars:  The Last Jedi.  BB-8 comes complete with a remote control, wall mount charger, USB cable, antennas, start and instruction guides.

No release date as of yet, but the Spin Master Hero Droid BB-8 is set to retail for $230.  Which may seem a bit hefty, but…really, can you really put a price on that kind authenticity (the answer is “no,” fyi)
