Right from the small screen comes CW’s The Flash courtesy of Kotobukiya. Based on actor Grant Gustin’s portrayal of the character, Koto’s new ArtFX+ statue has Barry Allen, decked out in his season three costume, impatiently waiting for you to make your next move.
Once just a lowly assistant police forensic investigator, Barry Allen would become something so much more when Central City’s S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator exploded, sending a shockwave of particles across an unsuspecting Central City. Barry would become the Flash (after waking from a coma nine month later, that is) when a particlely-charged lightning bolt would strike Allen in his lab, dousing him with an unknown cocktail of chemicals.
Kotobukiya’s new Flash statue, has the speedster standing over 7 inches in height (ArtFX+ 1/10th scale). Included with Barry are two alternate portraits (one masked, one unmasked) and magnets in his feet to stand him anyway you see fit on the included metal base.
So…is the statue worth it? Do you need yourself a version of Grant Gustin in your house? The only way to truly know for sure is to watch the latest episode of the Red chair show.
