With the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi just days away, LEGO’s latest assortment of BrickHeadz has been released. Representing the Star Wars U are Finn and the subject of today’s post: Captain Phasma (41486).
Commander of the First Order’s Stormtroopers, Captain Phasma leads the First Order (alongside Kylo Ren and General Hux) according to Supreme Leaders Snoke’s wishes.
LEGO’s new Brickheadz Captain Phasma figure is made up of 127 pieces. And while looking fairly simple in design, just like the rest of LEGO’s Brickheadz figures, the simplicity is deceptive and clever, at the same time. The construction of Phasma’s trademark black and red cape uses several standard LEGO pieces in unusual ways. Likewise, with Phasma’s helmet (o…there isn’t a Phasma face under that helmet, just that one pink brick in the center).
Along with her “chrome” armor (in this case a “shiny” grey) and fore-mentioned cape, Phasma also comes with her Sonn-Blas F-11D blaster (nonono. I didn’t actually know the name of the blaster. I looked it up. Thanks Wookieepedia!) and Brickheadz stand.
So? Is she worth it? Should you hunt her down with the same ferocity Anakin hunted down the Jedi? If you, like me, are a fan of the Brickheadz, you’d be completely remiss if you didn’t.
The LEGO Brickheadz Captain Phasma figure retails for $9.99 and is available right now at your local LEGO store and at shop.lego.com
