Not only is Playmates Toys expanding their line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for 2017, but they’re adding two new licenses to their stable:  Netflix’s Voltron and Cartoon Network’s upcoming “Ben 10” reboot.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The basic assortment of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles grows with the addition of “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Samurai Turtles (with a crossover featuring Stan Sakai’s Miyamoto Usagi), Monster Turtles (with the boys decked out as Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dracula and the Mummy) and several other new figures to boot.

The new Micros line is getting a big push with all sorts of different size playsets from a 9.5 inch articulated Leonardo, to tiny “pet turtle” playsets.

The mash-up with the WWE Wrestling Superstars continues with wave 2 of Ninja Superstars.  The new lineup will include Raphael as the Rock, Leonardo as Finn Balor, Donatello as the Ultimate Warrior and ya boy’s personal favorite Mikey as Rowdy Roddy Piper.

There’s assorted lines planned throughout the year like the boys joining the Marvel/DC Superheroes in the 12-inch line, a talking Turtles line and a deluxe line with Raph and Mikey as Samurai on decorative horses and Leo, along with Donnie, on space-age motorbikes.

But, that’s not all for the Turtles.  There’s a new Trash Truck for the figures to chill out in, new assortments to the blind bag line, and new figures and playsets to the Half Shell Heroes line, as well.

Voltron:  Legendary Defender

Voltron explodes onto the scene with a new basic figure assortment that includes the pilots (Shiro, Keith, Lance, Pidge, and Hunk), bad guys and Voltron, too.  And what Voltron figure assortment would be complete without the five lions?  Not a good one, that’s for sure.

There’s all sorts of deluxe play with figures that fit into their respective lions, deluxe lions and an Ultimate Voltron to top the whole line off.

Ben 10

Ben 10 returns to the Cartoon Network this Spring and Playmates has the figures to back it up.  The basic figure assortment features good ol’ Ben Tennyson (as a kid again) and all his alien iterations like Heatblast, Diamondhead, XLR8, Four Arms and Cannonbolt.

Of course, there’ll be plenty of deluxe figures, vehicles, transforming vehicle playsets and gigantic multistory hideouts to go along with all those figures.
