“I’ve killed monsters from other worlds before.”

With Warner Bros. “Wonder Woman” movie set to hit theaters June 2nd, Kotobukiya has unveiled a new Wonder Woman ArtFX statue.

Created by psychologist William Moulton Marston, Princess Diana of Themyscria made her DC Comics debut in the pages of “All Star Comics” #8 in December of 1941.  Best known for her appearance in the “Fast and Furious” series, actress Gal Gadot was tapped to play the Amazonian in the DC Extended Universe back in 2013, with her debut in 2016’s “Batman v Superman:  Dawn of Justice.”

Kotobukiya’s new statue is based on Gal Gadot’s portrayal of the character in the DCEU.  In her red, blue and gold armor, the daughter of Zeus is sculpted in ArtFX 1/16th scale.  Posed holding her sword and shield, Wonder Woman is a true Amazonian.

The Kotobukiya Wonder Woman ArtFX statue retails for $139.99 and is expected to ship July of 2017.  You can pre-order her right now at Koto’s website.
