Kotobukiya is bringing the Droids to a galaxy that’s not quite so far away.

Kotobukiya has three new exclusive astromech droid ArtFX+ statues for Star Wars Celebration, this coming April 13-17th in Orlando, Florida.  The new collection of droids consists of:  R2-X2, R4-M9, and Mr. Bad Motivator himself, R5-D4.

In case your knowledge of astromech droids is limited to just R2, here’s a quick rundown of Koto’s Celebration offerings:  Red Ten’s astromech droid, R2-X2 was destroyed in the Battle of Yavin.  R4-M9, on the other hand, was an Imperial agromech droid, stationed on the Star Destroyer “Devastator” who attempted to pull the stolen Death Star plans from Princess Leia’s Tantive IV’s mainframe.

And we all wouldn’t even be here if it weren’t for “Red,” R5-D4.

Measuring 4.6 inches in height (1/10th scale), the new ArtFX+ statues feature magnets in the “feet” to provide extra stability on the included metal base.  Each droid also comes with a special commemorative collector’s coin.

The Kotobukiya R2-X2, R4-M9 and R5-D4 retail for $44.99/each.  You can order them right now at Kotobukiya’s website.
