Ahead of Star Wars Celebration this coming weekend (April 13th – 17th) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, io9 got the drop on a brand new Black Series figure set coming from Hasbro: a 6-inch scale Rey’s Speeder.
As seen at the beginning of 2015’s “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” Hasbro’s new Speeder features two opening panels (to see the guts of the speeder) and nine points of articulation (yes…apparently vehicles have points of articulation, too). The Speeder also comes with a base that allows it to tilt in either direction.
What would a six-inch scale vehicle be without a figure? Nothing good, that’s for sure. Hasbro’s got that covered with a brand new sculpt of Rey in scavenger gear. The figure features 28 points of articulation (she’s got to at least sit on that speeder), fabric clothing and a removable face mask.
The Black Series Rey and Speeder retails for $60 and is expected to ship this fall, just in time with all the other “The Last Jedi” toys set to be released on Force Friday, September 1st. If you’re going to Celebration, Hasbro will have it on display at their booth.
