There’s a new Iron Man statue coming from Diamond Select, and Nerdist got the exclusive drop on it.

Riri Williams, aka Ironheart, is making her debut as an 11 inch PVC statue courtesy of Diamond Select Toys.  I know.  I know.  I know what you’re thinking.  You’re thinking:  who, exactly, is Riri Williams, Ironheart and what does any of that have to do with Iron Man???

Well…I’ll tell you.  Riri Williams is a 15 year old super-genius.  Debuting in the pages of “Invincible Iron Man” #7 (vol 7) in May of 2016, Riri managed to cobble together her own Iron Man armor from bits and pieces taken from MIT, where she was a student on scholarship.

Like I said:  super-genius.

Created by Brian Michael Bendis and Stefano Caselli, Riri has since graduated from her busted up armor, to one with a much sleeker, more “Tony Stark-esque” design.  And, has also taken up the mantle of Ironheart.

As for the new statue, it’s based on Riri’s new upgraded armor.  Sculpted by Phil Jimenez, the statue features Riri floats effortlessly above her base, courtesy of her feet repulsors.

The Diamond Select Toys Ironheart statue is set to retail for $45.00 and is expected to ship Summer 2017.
