Sideshow Collectibles is bringing another founding member of the Avengers to its line of Assemble Avengers statues…Janet Van Dyne:  The Wasp!

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, The Wasp made her Marvel Comics debut in the pages of Tales to Astonish #44 back in June of 1963.  With the power to shrink down to microscopic sizes, Van Dyne also as the convenient ability to fire “bioelectric energy blasts.”

Sideshow’s new statue features the Wasp in her iconic black costume with yellow insect-like armor on the torso.  Standing 18 inches in height and 12 inches wide, the statue also sports the Wasp’s insect wings.  There’s even a Sideshow Collectibles exclusive version of the statue that comes with a four-inch version of the heroine, with this one wearing a helmet to complete the costume.
