That’s right. Mezco Toyz is bringing Wolverine to it’s One: 12 Collective line. Whether you know him as Logan, Weapon X or his birth name, James Howlett, Wolverine has been slashing his way through the pages of Marvel Comics since his first appearance in “The Incredible Hulk” #180, back in October 1974.
Created by Len Wein, John Romita, Sr and Herb Trimpe, Wolverine has become best known for his mutant healing powers and bone claws (later to be replaced with Adamantium claws, when his skeleton was fused with the indestructible metal in the Weapon X program). Wolverine would go onto become part of the X-Men in “Giant Sized X-Men” #1 In May 1975. Over the years, Wolvie would be associated with not only the X-Men, but Marvel’s Alpha Flight and the Avengers.
Mezco Toyz new One: 12 Collective figure features Wolverine in his classic brown and yellow costume. Built on a newly developed smaller, more compact One: 12 body the figure features over 30 points of articulation, comic book-accurate costuming (with sculpted gloves, belt with pouches and boots) and two alternate head portraits.
Wolverine also comes with several hands (in various states of openness – including claws exposed!), Katana, One: 12 Collective base with adjustable display post and ships in Mezco’s collector friendly display box (no twist ties!).
