‘Harley Quinn’ Takes Home Best Animated Series at Critics Choice Awards
The Critics Choice Awards, held on a Sunday evening, saw a victorious win for the animated series, Harley Quinn. The program beat out formidable competition from other noteworthy shows such as Bluey, Bob’s Burgers, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and Undone to snag the award for Best Animated Series. This recognition was met with excitement from the show’s dedicated fanbase.
Initially airing on DC Universe, the show has since migrated to HBO Max, where it has gained an even larger following.

With three seasons already under its belt, Harley Quinn has been renewed for a fourth season. While no premiere date has been announced yet, fans won’t have to wait long for new material. The animated show will make its comeback in February, premiering a one-off episode entitled “Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special.” The special episode will center around the relationship of Harley (voiced by Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) as they experience their inaugural Valentine’s Day together. Given the show’s characteristic unpredictability, it can be assumed that the couple’s plans will not go as expected.
The first three seasons of Harley Quinn are currently available on HBO Max, and for fans who haven’t yet had a chance to check out the series, now is the perfect time. The show is an adult animated web television series and it was announced on November 20, 2017 and premiered with “Til Death Do Us Part” on November 29, 2019 on DC Universe. The series currently consists of two seasons with a third set to premiere on HBO Max on July 28, 2022. In mid-2021 a companion comic series was announced and it debuted its first issue in September of that year.

Harley Quinn is a hilarious and entertaining show that has deservedly earned recognition from critics and fans alike. With a fourth season on the way, and a special episode coming up soon, there’s plenty more to look forward to from this critically acclaimed animated series.
