Man’s Unique McDonald’s Diet Plan Shows Promising Health Results
A TikTok sensation has emerged as a man announced his intention to shed pounds by consuming only McDonald’s for a hundred consecutive days.
Kevin Maginnis, who weighed 238 pounds (107.9 kg) and was dissatisfied with his weight, resolved in February to embark on a weight-loss journey by subsisting exclusively on McDonald’s fare.
When Kevin, hailing from Nashville, announced his TikTok challenge to complete 100 days of eating nothing but McDonald’s, he quipped, “If you’re aiming to get into better physical shape, McDonald’s is the place to be.” Although there are undoubtedly healthier meal options to choose from, Kevin’s philosophy is that weight loss is not about what you consume, but rather, how much you consume.

Kevin elaborated on his TikTok Channel, stating that he intends to order McDonald’s meals and cut them in half as a means of demonstrating that overeating is the root cause of weight gain. He acknowledged that some might view his approach as unconventional, but he remains committed to his plan of consuming only McDonald’s for the next 100 days, swapping soda for water, and keeping meticulous track of his progress.
Although McDonald’s offers options such as salads, grilled chicken sandwiches, apple slices, and porridge, Kevin prefers not to choose these healthier alternatives.

Kevin’s meals, as part of his “1/2 Size Me” challenge, consist of a McMuffin and hash brown for breakfast, and a half portion of a burger of his choice with large fries and a dessert for both lunch and dinner.
The goal of Kevin’s challenge is to do the opposite of what Morgan Spurlock did in “Super Size Me,” where he gained 24.5lbs (11.1kg) by only eating McDonald’s for 30 days.
Unlike Morgan, who experienced negative health effects such as increased cholesterol and body mass, sexual dysfunction, mood swings, depression, chest pains, exhaustion, and a build-up of fat in his liver, Kevin aims to reduce his portion sizes and improve his health.

In an attempt to achieve his health goals, Kevin has opted for a unique diet plan consisting of smaller portions of McDonald’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, for a duration of 100 days, as opposed to Morgan’s 30-day plan. Kevin believes that his body will respond positively to this modified diet, and so far, he has observed significant progress.
Within ten days, Kevin reported a weight loss of 12.5 pounds (5.7kg) as a result of consuming less food, leading him to anticipate further improvements in his overall health, such as lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Kevin has also been sharing his blood test results with his followers, although some express concerns that his diet may have negative consequences on his health. One viewer commented that they would steer clear of McDonald’s with such results.
