The hit reality show “Love is Blind” is set to make its way across the pond and bring its unique blend of romance and drama to UK audiences. With the announcement made through a recent tweet by the Netflix UK Twitter account, the show will be produced by the married at first sight indie, CPL Productions.

With three seasons and 40 episodes already under its belt, “Love is Blind” has already proven to be a huge success in the U.S. The show has also been adapted in Brazil and Japan, receiving glowing reviews from fans and critics alike.

15 men and 15 women from the same area are given the opportunity to find love in a unique way on “Love is Blind”. Participants meet in “pods”, where they can only communicate through voice and must rely on their instincts and emotions to build connections. If a connection is strong enough, a marriage proposal may be offered, and the show then follows the couple as they move in together and prepare for their big day.

The UK version of “Love is Blind” will join the ranks of other popular reality shows that have originated in the UK, such as “The Circle” and “Too Hot to Handle”. The U.S. version of the show has been one of Netflix’s most successful entertainment programs, and the UK adaptation is poised to follow in its footsteps.
