Sideshow Collectibles teases new Symbiote Spider-Man statue

Sideshow Collectibles teased a new addition to their Premium Format Figure collection: Symbiote Costume Spider-Man!

For four years, between 1984 and 1988, Spider-Man wore the black costume he picked up during the Secret Wars mini series. Eventually realizing the suit was not only alive, but an alien, Spidey (with the help of the Fantastic Four’s Reed Richards) would ditched the symbiote. Who would go on to bond with Eddie Brock and become Venom.

I’m paraphrasing, of course.

Details about the new statue are sketchy as this point. But, if you’re going to San Diego Comic Con, you’re in luck. The new collectible will be on display at Sideshow’s booth.
